Trump Warns of “End of Iran” if They Interfere with Gulf Oil

Date:

President Donald Trump has issued a chilling warning to Tehran, stating that any further disruption of oil shipping would mean “the end of that country.” Trump’s comments come as he describes the war in Iran as “very complete, pretty much,” highlighting the destruction of the Iranian navy and air force. He vowed that any “bad” actions in the Strait of Hormuz would be met with a U.S. strike “twenty times harder.”
The President’s rhetoric is aimed at securing the global energy supply, which has been hit hard by the conflict. Oil prices reached $119 per barrel before cooling off following Trump’s hints that the war might end soon. He reiterated that the U.S. is “far ahead of schedule” and that the “little excursion” was a necessary move to protect global interests.
In Tehran, the regime has moved to install Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Supreme Leader, a move Trump has dismissed as a “mistake.” The President’s refusal to recognize the new leader suggests that the U.S. is still pushing for a more fundamental shift in Iranian governance. This has led to a state of heightened tension between the two nations as the war enters its second week.
The conflict has also had a devastating impact on the region, with retaliatory strikes hitting targets in the UAE, Bahrain, and Israel. Trump has supported the military’s “amazing” performance in defending against these attacks. However, the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon, where over half a million people are displaced, continues to draw international concern.
Trump’s narrative remains focused on the “ultimate victory” that would permanently end the threat from Iran. He told supporters in Florida that the military has done an “incredible job” and that the war is winding down. The world now waits to see if the President’s “short-term excursion” promise can be fulfilled without further regional escalation.
