Nissan and LiCAP Partner to Make Better, Greener Batteries for Electric Cars

Date:

Nissan, the car company, is teaming up with a tech company called LiCAP to create better batteries for future electric cars. The two companies are working together to make a special part of the battery, called the electrode, using a new method that is more friendly to the environment.

This new way of making batteries, called Activated Dry Electrode® technology, doesn’t use the same harsh chemicals as older methods. This partnership is a big part of Nissan’s plan to create more advanced and sustainable electric vehicles for the future.

Dr. Linda Zhong, the head of LiCAP Technologies, said she’s excited to work with Nissan on this important project. This new partnership is a big step toward making electric cars even better and cleaner for everyone.
