Carrier Offers Solutions to Protect Indoor Air from Wildfire Smoke

Date:

INDIANAPOLIS—As wildfire smoke pollutes the air across North America, Carrier is launching a new program to help people protect their indoor air. The company highlights the danger of tiny particles in wildfire smoke, which can be harmful to a person’s health. Carrier is encouraging people to take action by using better HVAC filters, sealing their homes, and running portable air purifiers.

“The air inside your home can be just as affected by wildfire smoke as the air outside,” said Nick Arch, Carrier’s Vice President and General Manager of Residential Solutions. “Our technology is designed to help reduce these risks and keep your air safe for you and your family.”

Carrier’s products range from advanced air filters to portable purifiers, and the company recently donated $2.5 million in air purifiers to frontline workers and schools in Los Angeles.
